XL PIN GRADING
There are no S-grade for this pin batch (S-grade = legitimately perfect, without any miniscule imperfection upon close inspection). All pins were individually polished by hand, and the surface material of the pin will reflect this.
- A(regular)-grade: The highest quality pins from the production batch. May have negligible imperfections that are to be expected during the handmade manufacturing process. This includes but is not limited to, surface level polishing marks on some enamel and/or metal areas (NOTE: POLISHING MARKS ARE SIMILAR TO BUT NOT THE SAME AS SCRATCHES), a couple of darker flecks of glitter in glitter areas, a miniscule speck in a "lesser" non-focal area of the pin (i.e. not in the middle of a character's face), and slight variation in enamel paint surface due to heat from the baking process.
- B(plus)-grade: A couple of minor flaws (i.e., a light smallish speck near a character's face, or a minor dent somewhere), OR an amount of very minor flaws that would not necessarily be considered defective on their own, but the accumulation of amount drops the pin down from an A-grade.
- B(regular)-grade: A single "mild" flaw, such as a single yet noticeably black speck OR dent somewhere on a character's face or body, or metal that has bled or bubbled over in a tiny section of the pin. Alternatively, it may be an accumulation of multiple B+ level defects to where it drops the pin as a whole from B+ to B.
"C" GRADES ARE NOT SOLD. No pins that have truly unsightly problems, such as wrong color fills, deep gouges, or chunks of missing enamel, will be listed here.
