PATREON GENERAL FAQs


🌱 What is Patreon?

Patreon is a membership based platform. It is a great way to join your favorite creator's community and pay them for making the stuff you love. The Blushsprout Pin Club on Patreon acts similarly to a preorder system. By signing up for a spot in the pin club, you are reserving a spot for that month’s exclusive design!


🌱 When will I be charged?

Patreon begins processing payments on the 1st of the month. Monthly pledges are a flat rate that will automatically renew monthly until your pledge is deleted. 

Please note that Patreon operates on a monthly payment system. You will not be charged until the 1st of the following month. Example: if you were to join on February 1st, you would not be charged until March 1st!

 

🌱 Can I join if I live outside of the United States?

Yes. If you live outside of the United States, please make sure to join a tier that is labeled International.

 

🌱 How do I upgrade or downgrade my tier?

Note that certain tiers have limited space available. You will not be able to join a tier if it is full. If a tier is full, it will be labeled as Sold Out. Since many people drop or change their memberships throughout the month, we recommend checking back throughout the month to see if space has opened up in your desired tier.

 

🌱 How do I cancel my membership?

From the drop-down menu on the top right, click "Manage memberships" and you'll be taken to a page that shows all of your active memberships. Click "Edit" next to the membership you wish to delete and click the "Edit or Cancel Payment" button on the bottom right of the page.  


Please be sure to cancel any memberships BEFORE the 1st of the month. It is the patrons’ responsibility to manage their memberships, and we cannot issue refunds or cancellations after payments have been charged on the 1st.

 

🌱 I am not interested in physical rewards, but would still like to support you on Patreon.

Yes! You can join the $3 Sprout support tier, which will give you access to patrons-only posts, the Secret Shop, 10% off monthly discount code, as well as access to our community Discord server + the “Sprout” server role.

 

MONTHLY REWARDS & SECRET SHOP FAQs

 

🌱 When will I receive my physical rewards?

Pin club packages typically ship out within 30 - 60 days of the monthly charge date. Delivery times vary by destination.

We aim to get all Patreon rewards shipped out as quickly as we can, but COVID-19 has majorly impacted manufacturing timelines. So at this moment, we can only provide tentative shipping estimates on a month-by-month basis. We hope that as thing stabilize, pin club scheduling will become more predictable! Until then, please join our Discord server for all of the latest pin club shipping & production updates.

 

🌱 What products are available for sale in the Secret Shop?

Any leftover designs from previous months will be eventually listed in the Secret Shop! Special sales, preorders, and restocks are sometimes listed in the Secret Shop as well, giving patrons the first chance before anything goes live to the public!

 

🌱 When & how will I receive the monthly Secret Shop password and 10% off discount code?

New patrons will receive the Secret Shop password + monthly discount code after their first payment has been processed. Payments are processed for everyone on the 1st of each month. This means if you join early on in the month, you will not receive the password or code until the following month’s charge.

The password and code will be sent directly to you in the form of a Patreon direct message, typically within the first week of the month! If you have Patreon emails turned on, you should also receive the same message in the form of an automated email.

If you are having trouble locating the email, try searching “blushsprout” or “blushsprout patreon” in your email inbox’s search bar!

The code is not allowed to be used on the following types of items: Pin Bundles, Mystery Bags, and/or Fantasy Pins.

Please do not share the monthly password or discount code with anyone. It is not fair to current patrons and lowers your own chance of obtaining limited edition pins from the secret shop!

 

🌱 How do I join the Discord server?

The community Discord server available exclusively to patrons! Existing patrons can join the server at any time by going to the My Membership page on patreon.com/blushsprout and clicking the Connect to Discord button. Chat with other pin club members & share pics of your collection!


 

 

TROUBLESHOOTING

 

🌱 I have a question or issue about my membership. 

If you have any questions or concerns, please send an email to help@blushsprout.com with all applicable information, such as your full name, Patreon email, tier, month subscribed, etc. 

🌱 My monthly package was shipped, but hasn't arrived yet.

If your package seems stuck in tracking, please give it some time to see if it sorts itself out! Sometimes mail can get caught in a “loop” for days or even a couple of weeks, but almost always end up finding its way to the recipient!

If your pin hasn’t arrived after one (1) month (U.S. members) or three (3) months (International members), please send an email to help@blushsprout.com with your full name, address, and let us know which month's package you are waiting on.

 

🌱 My pin is defective, can you replace it?

We individually quality check and ship thousands of pins per month, and sometimes a Seconds grade pin might accidentally slip by us! If you believe you were sent a Seconds grade pin by mistake, please reach out to us at help@blushsprout.com with your full name, Patreon email, and at least one photo of the pin in which the defect can be clearly seen so that we can help resolve the issue.

That being said, all of our pins are handmade, and Standard grade pins may still have subtle imperfections on the surface/color/metal areas. We do not count things such as surface buffs, miniscule specks, or slightly misaligned screenprinting as defects. See our Grading Guide for more details.

 

🌱 My pin and/or freebie item got damaged while in transit. Can you replace it?

Damaged pins: If your monthly enamel pin was obviously damaged in transit (like being run over by a vehicle), please send a photo of the damaged pin + damaged packaging to help@blushsprout.com! We can send you out a replacement pin either on its own, or with your next pin club package if you are still a patron.

Damaged freebies: In order to both reduce waste and labor, freebie items are not padded with cardboard. Despite this, it is extremely rare for a package to arrive with severely bent contents.  Due to the nature of freebie items, they are ineligible for automatic replacement. However, we am more than happy to include a replacement freebie item with your next month's package if you choose to stay subscribed (provided that there are leftovers of the freebies). Please send an email to help@blushsprout.com with your full name, address, photographs of your bent freebies, and be sure to include which upcoming monthly package you would like the replacement to be included with.

 

ANTI-SCALPING POLICY

Flipping/scalping is not condoned inside or outside of the community. We reserve the right to permanently ban scalpers from Patreon, Discord, online shop, and social media, and/or cancel & refund any open or future orders without notice.

 

PATREON REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS POLICY

 

Refunds or cancellations will not be issued for ANY reason.

Patrons are solely responsible for managing, canceling, and/or renewing their own monthly pledges -- and thus we are not liable for charges taken if patrons forget to remove said pledge.

If you need to cancel your membership, make sure that you completely unsubscribe before the 1st of the month to avoid being charged.

Any issues with billing or unauthorized charges must be taken up with Patreon customer support directly. We (Blushsprout) do not have control over Patreon’s billing system, including how and/or when their processor attempts to bill your account.
